Placed within the green hills of Lunigiana, the land of a hundred castles, in a Tuscan, antique stone farmhouse, Podere Montese is a completely renovated agritourism surrounded by hectares of cultivated fields, olive groves, pastures, streaming meadows, woods and a park equipped with a nature trail littered with fitness tools.The main building consists of an old farmhouse, hosting four bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, and wide master apartment with living quarters with triple hall, habitable kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an attic. A restaurant, too, is part of the property.The second building is set up within an olive grove and is made up of five double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom and independent access. One of these bedrooms was knowingly designed to accommodate differently-abled people.The third building consists of wide conference hall on the ground floor and two spacious apartments on the upper floor; one of the apartments has a large terrace with view over the whole farm and leading to the living quarters with open-style kitchen and to a double bedroom and a bathroom, the other has spacious living quarters with open-style kitchen, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms. Close to this last building, we find a warehouse and a garage.Also on the premises, a gorgeous pool area with Jacuzzi and reserved wellness center with sauna, steam room and sensory shower. The pool is equipped with telescopic covering offering a controlled climate within, making its usage possible even during mid-seasons, late nights and rainy days.Barn, hayloft and abattoir complete the property: cows, donkeys, sheep, hens and geese are being currently bred there, set free around the rangeland.Just upon the limit of the agritourism Podere Montese, the antique Via Francigena, a road famous for having been used through time by pilgrims reaching Rome from the lands of the Franks, goes by. To this day, after extensive remodelling and reconstruction works on the old path, the Via is still used by backpackers and devotees from all Europe every year, following the very same steps that brought our ancestors to the Capital. Immerso tra le verdi colline della Lunigiana, terra dei 100 castelli, in un antico casale toscano in pietra, Podere Montese è un agriturismo completamente ristrutturato circondato da ettari di campi coltivati, uliveti, pascoli, prati con ruscelli, boschi e un parco attrezzato con un percorso vita disseminato di attrezzi fitness.Il fabbricato principale è costituito da un antico casale, dove sono ospitate quattro camere da letto, ognuna con bagno en-suite; un ampio appartamento padronale composto da zona giorno con tre salotti, cucina abitabile, tre camere da letto, due bagni e la mansarda.Fa parte della struttura un ristorante con circa 50 posti a sedere e una cucina professionale.Il secondo fabbricato è immerso in un uliveto e al suo interno sono state ricavate cinque camere matrimoniali ognuna con bagno en-suite e con accesso indipendente. Una di queste camere è stata opportunamente studiata per poter ospitare persone diversamente abili.Il terzo fabbricato ospita al piano terra un'ampia sala conferenze e al piano superiore due ampi appartamenti; uno composto da una grande terrazza con vista su tutto il podere che porta alla zona giorno con cucina a vista, una camera matrimoniale e un bagno. L'altro appartamento è composto da un'ampia zona giorno con cucina a vista, due camere matrimoniali e due bagni.Adiacente a questo fabbricato troviamo un magazzino, una sala congressi completamente attrezzata per circa 25 persone e un garage. Fanno parte delle proprietà una stupenda area piscina con idromassaggio e un centro benessere con sauna, bagno turco e doccia emozionale. La piscina è dotata di una copertura telescopica all'interno della quale il clima è controllato, rendendo così possibile il suo utilizzo anche nelle mezze stagioni, durante le ore serali e nelle giornate di pioggia.La stalla, il fienile e il macello completano la proprietà: attualmente vengono allevate mucche, asini, pecore, galline e oche che vengono lasciate libere negli ampi pascoli.Proprio al limitare della proprietà dell'Agriturismo Podere Montese scorre l'antica via Francigena, la famosa strada utilizzata anticamente dai pellegrini provenienti dalle terre dei Franchi per raggiungere Roma. Ancora oggi, dopo un esteso lavoro di rimodellamento e ricostruzione dell'antico percorso, la Via resta annualmente percorsa da escursionisti e fedeli di tutta Europa, che possono così ripercorrere gli stessi passi che conducevano i nostri avi alla Capitale.
