The Castle dei Naselli d'Aragona, one of the most important historical buildings in Comiso, is for sale in the province of Ragusa. Probably built around the 12th century, this property has had a long history: partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1693, in 1841 it was home to a theater, and then sold to a Sicilian aristocratic family, who settled in this enchanting mansion. Although a large part of the Aragonese Castle of Comiso was destroyed in the earthquake of 1693, it is still possible to admire several remains dating back to its origins. At the time, it had a drawbridge that guaranteed protection. On the right of the current building, it is still possible to admire the most historic part, represented by a baptistery that proudly houses several frescoes dating back to the Byzantine era. On the north side there is an 18th-century loggia with frescoes depicting landscapes and animals. In vendita il Castello dei Naselli d’Aragona, uno degli edifici storici più importanti del comune di Comiso, in provincia di Ragusa. La probabile edificazione del Castello è avvenuta intorno al XII secolo, complici le testimonianze di diversi documenti del XIII secolo che ne citano la sua presenza. Prima di appartenere alla famiglia Naselli, nel 1943 la dimora nobiliare apparteneva ai conti Cabrera, fino a quando nel 1693 il devastante terremoto non causò ingenti danni alla struttura, costringendo i suoi inquilini a lasciarla in attesa della ristrutturazione. Nel 1841 la struttura passò sotto la proprietà pubblica, che ne trasformò una sua parte in teatro, mentre la restante venne utilizzata per la realizzazione delle carceri. In seguito fu ceduta ad un’altra famiglia aristocratica siciliana, i Nifosì, che si stabilirono in questa incantevole dimora. Sebbene una grande parte del Castello Aragonese di Comiso andò distrutta dal terremoto del 1693, ancora oggi è possibile ammirare diversi resti risalenti ai primi anni dello scorso millennio, oltre ad avere numerose documentazioni che descrivono chiaramente l’originaria struttura. I giardini interni compongono un suggestivo scenario, con diverse fontane del Quattrocento e del Seicento, che si amalgamano alla perfezione con il verde circostante. Le château Naselli d'Aragona, dans la province de Ragusa, construit autour du XIIème siècle, est à vendre. La propriété a été transformée en théâtre et prisons au XIXème siècle, jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit vendue à une autre famille aristocratique sicilienne, les Nifosì. Une grande partie du château a été détruite lors d’un tremblement de terre mais on peut encore admirer plusieurs vestiges datant des premières années du dernier millénaire, à l'époque où il était doté d'un pont-levis. Sur le côté droit du bâtiment actuel, il est encore possible d'admirer la partie la plus historique, représentée par un baptistère avec des fresques d'époque byzantine. Sur le côté nord, se trouve une loggia du XVIIIème siècle. Les jardins intérieurs présentent plusieurs fontaines des XVème et XVIIème siècles, qui s'intègrent parfaitement à la verdure environnante.
