The house can only be reached on foot via a hiking trail and is not suitable for people who cannot move easily or who have breathing problems. The living and sleeping areas can be heated electrically, via a thermostat, or via the built-in Swedish stove with wood that is available. The shower and toilet have thermostatically controlled underfloor heating. The Bern Airport and Geneva Airport are nearest.

Alternativ können Sie auch Ausflüge nach Fiesch und Brig unternehmen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist des Weiteren ein Besuch des berühmten Aletschgletschers. Das Chalet Saflischgarten liegt sehr ruhig in dem kleinen Weiler bei Heiligenkreuz und ist ein perfektes Ziel für Urlauber, die auf der Suche nach einer einfachen sowie besonderen Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Wald-Lage sind. Sie erreichen das puristisch gepflegte Chalet über einen 150m langen Wanderweg. Im Wohnzimmer steht ein Stockbett zur Verfügung, das Platz für vier Personen bietet. Darüber hinaus verfügen Sie über eine Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheiten und einen kleinen Garten. Direkt von der Haustür aus können Sie viele schöne Wanderungen beginnen. Ihr Auto können Sie ca. 200m vom Chalet entfernt parken.

Aan het eind van het Binntal ligt im Feld, hier bevindt zich een edelstenengroeve waar u zelf (tegen vergoeding) uw edelsteinen kunt uithakken. Voor uitstapjes kunt u terecht in Fiesch en Brig. En natuurlijk mag een bezoek aan de beroemde Aletschgletscher niet ontbreken. Chalet Saflischgarten is zeer rustig gelegen in het gehucht Heiligkreuz. Het is de perfecte bestemming voor rustzoekers en wandelliefhebbers die houden van bijzondere maar geheel gerenoveerde vakantiewoningen. U bereikt het chalet dmv een wandelpad van ca. 150 meter. De inrichting is eenvoudig maar verzorgd. U hebt de beschikking over een terras met zitje en een kleine tuin. Direct vanaf het chalet kunt u aan vele mooie wandelingen beginnen.
