The city of Lucca offers a lot – the intact town wall which secludes the historical centre and unique in its art. Elegant boutiques and fancy stores make your heart beat faster. Torre del Lago is only 25 km from the historical centre of Lucca – the composer lived there many years – an open-air theatre was built, which is the yearly host of the Puccini opera festival.
