Pretende-se diminuir ao mínimo as zonas circulação e a criação de dependências de dimensões grandes: quartos e casa de banho comum da qual se pretende que funcione como sala de banho com bastante espaço onde se colocará chuveiro e uma banheira.
Usar-se-á um sistema de mais pisos para combater a diferenciação de alturas entre o corpo principal da casa e acrescento posterior da casa onde estará a escada de acesso vertical. Procura-se com esta proposta manter uma característica original da casa que é de nunca fazer corresponder um alinhamento horizontal de vamos a nível da planta e um alinhamento vertical de vãos a nível de alçados fazendo corresponder uma abertura no primeiro piso a cada plano fechado do resto chão e vice-versa tanto nos vamos existentes como nos que serão criados. Os vãos de maior interesse são assim mantidos restaurados e valorizados. Outros novos serão criados na sala e quarto de hóspedes.
No exterior
Na parte mais extensa do terreno serão plantadas árvores de porte posicionadas de forma a minimizar o impacto de construções vizinhas estão posicionadas sobre os muros exteriores do terreno. A construção em ruínas apoiada sobre o muro de betão será adaptada a banco do jardim e serão mantidos os castanheiros que cresceram dentro.
