Polícia - 5700m - GNR - Posto Territorial de Ourém Winery located in a terroir with ancient production where wine culture was developed by the Cistercian Order. It was at the center of a web of transnational connections and the wines produced were exported to Europe since the beginning of nationality, that is, since the Middle Ages. Production and exports have continued over the centuries and are still a reality today.Around 600 tons of grapes are processed here annually, which give rise to various wines, which are destined for the national and international market. In addition to wine, the company produces and sells olive oil. Customers include large national chains and the wines are exported to several countries, including Brazil, Canada, China, Angola, Cape Verde, and the European Union.The complex or industrial building, where the winery is located, has areas defined for wine production and offices. The production area has defined spaces or zones: reception; pressing; fermentation and storage; stabilization and filling. The office area is divided into Hall/Reception; Cabinets; Meeting room; Circulation space; Laboratory; File; Workshop; Refectory; Sanitary facilities for employees; Sanitary installation for visitors/customers. It also has a cellar, where the wine is stored and preserved in bottles, barrels or barrels, located partially underground in order to maintain an ideal temperature for preserving the wine. This space is divided into a public area and a private area, in which the public area is aimed at tasting and selling the respective product, as well as business events, training and product presentation. On the other hand, the private area is reserved for the storage and aging of wines. Completing the set is an external parking lot measuring 2800 m2, suitable for industrial parking for:- 29 Light vehicles;- 3 Heavy vehicles.
