Welcome to a cozy cabin on Munsö, one of the former islands in Ekerö municipality, which have now grown together. The house has 3 comfortable bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two single beds. The house is built in levels, the bedroom and living room are a few steps lower than the kitchen and dining room. In the dining room there is a fireplace and in the living room there is a fireplace that you can use on a rainy day. There is a balcony with outdoor furniture, with an exit from the living room. The living room has two comfortable sofas at an angle and a smart TV on the wall. There is wifi in the house and a Chromecast, so it´s easy to watch your favorite programs if you want. The bathroom has a new washing machine and dryer, as well as a shower corner, WC and sink, all in good condition. The plot is leafy and you can glimpse the Lake Mälaren from the cabin. It´s only a 2-minute walk down to the beach with a barbecue area, chairs and tables as well as a large play area for the children. It´s shallow by the beach, so it is good for small children. If you walk along the water line, there is a jetty and bathing ladder for deeper swimming. The house comes with a rowing boat (with 6 life jackets) and there is fishing equipment to use, pull up a couple of perch for tonight's dinner, or just row out for a quiet evening in the sunset. There is much to discover on the Ekeröarna, Drottningholm Castle, horse farms, musteries, cafes and restaurants. If you like hiking or cycling, there are plenty of trails. Along the eastern side of Munsön stretches the northern part of the 35 kilometer long hiking trail Ekerö-Munsöleden. If you want to spend a day in the big city, you can easily take the bus, it runs 2 km from the house. Discover Adelsö, take the nearby ferry, take a boat to Birka, which is considered Sweden's first city, there is a lot of exciting things to see. Ekeröarna has plenty of petroglyphs and remains from the past.

Willkommen in einem gemütlichen Ferienhaus auf der Insel Munsö in der Gemeinde Ekerö nahe Stockholm. Das Ferienhaus hat drei komfortable Schlafzimmer; zwei mit Doppelbett, das dritte mit zwei Einzelbetten. Das Haus hat verschobene Ebenen; Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer liegen einige Stufen tiefer als die Küche und das Esszimmer. Im Esszimmer gibt es einen Kamin und im Wohnzimmer gibt es einen Holzofen, der an kühleren Tagen für Gemütlichkeit sorgt. Zudem klimafreundliche Wärmepumpe im Haus. Es gibt eine sonnige Holzterrasse am Haus mit Gartenmöbeln und Zugang vom Wohnzimmer aus. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über eine Sitzecke mit zwei bequemen Sofas sowie über ein Smart-TV an der Wand. Im Haus gibt es Breitband und Chromecast zum Streamen eigener TV-Anbieter. Badezimmer mit neuer Waschmaschine und neuem Wäschetrockner sowie einer Duschecke, WC und Waschbecken, alles in gutem Zustand. Das Grundstück ist begrünt und bietet einen Ausblick zum Wasser bis hin zum Mälarsee. Ans Strandufer geht man etwa 2 Minuten. Für die Kinder gibt es dort eine Spielfläche, zudem Grillplatz, Stühle und Tische sowie einen großen Spielbereich. Das Strandufer ist flach und daher gut für kleine Kinder geeignet. Wenn Sie entlang des unbefestigten Kiesweges bzw. der Uferlinie gehen, erreichen Sie einen Steg und eine Badeleiter zum Schwimmen im tieferen Wasser. Zum Ferienhaus gehört auch ein Ruderboot (mit 6 Schwimmwesten) und es gibt Angelausrüstung, mit der Sie ein paar Barsche für den Grillabend fangen können. Alternativ machen Sie einfach eine ruhige Ruderpartie im Sonnenuntergang. \ In der Umgebung gibt es einiges zu entdecken, darunter Schloss Drottningholm, Pferdehöfe, Cafés und Restaurants. Wenn Sie gerne wandern oder Rad fahren, gibt es zahlreiche Wanderwege. Entlang der Ostseite von Munsön erstreckt sich der nördliche Teil des 35 Kilometer langen Wanderwegs Ekerö-Munsöleden. Wenn Sie einen Tag in der Großstadt verbringen möchten, können Sie bequem den Bus nach Stockholm nehmen, der nur 2 km vom Ferienhaus entfernt abfährt.
